Making Space at Umeå Pride
SFQ present their intersectional and anti-racist project, Making Space: Raising hidden voices of the Swedish LGBTQ+ community in collaboration with Regnbågsbiblioteket and Lesbisk Frukost!
The talk and discussion will be focused on:
- How homophobia, transphobia, and racism are experienced within and outside of the LGBTQIA+ community for people with non-normative ethnic, social, cultural, or religious identity/backgrounds?
- How can our organization and the wider lgbtqia+ community be more inclusive, welcoming, and empowering for those of us who experience discrimination or feel that we do not belong.
Lesbisk Frukost and SFQ will provide free vegan fika: sandwhiches, coffee etc.
Come along and enjoy some good fika, celebrate Umeå Pride and listen to SFQ share stories which otherwise usually go unheard.
